Our Mission

Hikayetna uses storytelling to strengthen community voices, bring people together and inspire positive social change. Through creative programmes, skills training and mentoring, we empower underrepresented communities, including refugees and migrants, to share their experiences, build meaningful connections and create positive change in their communities.

We believe social change starts within communities. Everyone should have the opportunity to participate in arts, culture and storytelling, build meaningful connections and feel a sense of belonging.
