Celebrating the Syrian Community in Ealing
As part of Refugee Week 2025, “Celebrating the Syrian Community in Ealing” is set to bring people together for a vibrant and family-friendly cultural evening on June 21 from 5–7 PM at ActOne Cinema, 119–121 High Street, London W3 6NA.
This special event recognises the resilience, contributions, and rich heritage of the Syrian community in Ealing. It offers a unique opportunity for newly arrived Syrian refugees and long-standing residents to connect and celebrate through the universal languages of storytelling, music, poetry, and food.
In keeping with this year’s Refugee Week theme, “Our Community is Our Superpower,” the event highlights the power of culture and community to foster a sense of belonging, healing, and shared identity. It will showcase the diversity and strength of Ealing’s Syrian residents while inviting the wider public to learn, listen, and celebrate together.
Supported by Ealing Council, the celebration will be a lively expression of home, hospitality, and cultural pride — and a testament to the importance of inclusive spaces in strengthening local communities.
