In 1996 Dawn West visited Syria with a travel group.
she has lots of photographs from her trip and also kept a diary and souvenirs from hotels and other places.
she wanted to share her experiences of Syria with hikayetna project. Those photos shot in 1996, just before digital cameras came out.
Dawn scanned the photos and in May 2015 she exhibited at the Ormston House gallery in Ireland.
