Hikayetna launched new free cookery classes in June.
We are pleased to launch a new four series of free cookery sessions supported by Hammersmith United Charities next month. The participants will explore catering skills and the food industry during this free four-course.
The Chef initiative seeks residents across White City and Shepherd’s Bush to ensure our target audiences can get help. It enables them to understand the food industry better. It provides a feeling of empowerment and helps them learn new skills to return to work.
The Chef designed to connect local communities, teach people about the food , and provide practical tools towards improving their employability.
It is also free and will focus on practical training to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to succeed in the catering and hospitality business. The first cooking session will hold on Friday, 2 June.
The course will be run by a Syrian chef Majeda Khouri the director of Syrian Sunflower, and will take place 2,9,16 and 23 June at the St Stephen’s Church 1 Coverdale Rd, Shepherds Bush W12 8JJ.
