We are very excited to announce that we will be exhibiting some of our participants images at the W3 Gallery this month. We will be showcasing our latest participatory photography projects(ZOOMED), which explore themes around community, art and culture.
Zoomed has been funding by the Mayor of London’s Culture Seeds to establishing digital photography programmes in unrepresentative groups, creating the opportunity for empowerment and inspiration refugees and migrants.
The Zoomed project is initiated by Sulaiman Othman the producer and curator of the Hikayetna (our story), a community art project. Refugees and migrants are an integral part of diversity in the success of London. The goal of this project is to provide a platform where refugees and migrants can express themselves and share their stories thought digital photography.
